It started on the cliffs of Shell Beach, at a little restaurant called Lido — the kind of place that feels like it was always meant to be part of the story. What began as friendship grew into something neither of them saw coming. They admired each other quietly at first — the work ethic, the humor, the drive — until one day they looked up and realized they had fallen. Fast, and completely. One week in, Dominic asked Abby to Las Vegas to meet his family. She jumped on the plane without hesitation, because she knew it was something special. From that moment on, they were lost to each other in the best possible way. That first year was filled with adventure and spontaneity. Volleyball games all summer long, evenings with their Lido family, and a love that kept growing bigger than they ever imagined. And somewhere between those golden evenings and salt-aired nights, they realized the love between them had quietly outgrown every plan they'd ever made for themselves. So they made a new one. Together. Dominic had roots in Colorado. Abby had never been. Together, they packed up everything and headed to the mountains. Colorado gave them space to grow, to adventure, and to dream out loud. In May of 2024, Dominic proposed and Abby, who had already known since the day they kissed under a strawberry moon, said yes. They celebrated in one of their favorite places, Glenwood Springs.
