Beacon
One of our favorite places to shop is up and down Main Street in Beacon! It's a nicely revitalized area with lots of stores & restaurants!
Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park
The Walkway Over the Hudson is a path that used to be a railroad bridge that takes you across the Hudson River, connecting Poughkeepsie to Highland. Great place to see the fall foliage from a high vantage point!
Mesier Park
This park is in the village of Wappingers, up the road from where we live! It gives both a mix of nature and history.
Village of Wappingers Falls
The village of the town where we currently live & where Kristen found her wedding dress (Wild Blooms Bridal Shop)! It's a historic, walkable village with some shops along main street and several victorian-style homes.
Meadowbrook Farm
One of our favorite local farms! We love to come here for our pumpkins & fresh cider in the fall!
New Hamburg Train Station
If you're planning a trip to NYC while you're in town, this is a great train station that we ourselves often depart from!
