Yosemite National Park
We highly recommend taking the time to visit Yosemite National Park while you all are in town for the wedding. We chose this venue in the Sierra Nevada mountains for its beauty and because of the many important memories we have in this mountain range. We would love to share that inspiration with you! The town of Oakhurst, where the venue is, is about a 30-minute drive to the South Entrance of Yosemite. Due to volume, Yosemite is enforcing reservations on weekends during this time. We strongly advise if you plan to visit the park on the Sunday after the wedding or plan to arrive the week before, please make a reservation. Reservations are not required on weekdays. Passes can be purchased at the park entrance for $35 per vehicle. Park passes are typically good for 7 days. For those traveling to California, and planning to spend time at another National Park this year, you can buy an America The Beautiful pass, which will grant access to all national parks for one year for $80.

We recommend the Valley Floor Tour at Yosemite, please book in advance as it is peak season. We have never done it, but it looked like a fun way to explore the Valley for the day!
