FAQs

Question

Do you have any hotel recs?

Answer

Check the travel page!

Question

Why a Sunday?

Answer

Throwing a Jewish wedding on Shabbat isn't really "kosher," so Sunday allows us the most time to celebrate with everyone we love!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love kids (especially yours), our wedding is adults only!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To respect our venue's strict capacity limits, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal! Given the terrain, our venue does have a strict no-heels policy. We will be outside for the ceremony and dinner, so please bring a sweater or jacket to keep warm.

Question

Is there parking at The 1909?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary valet will be provided in front of the venue. If you plan to drink, please use an Uber or Lyft instead.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

At the end of our reception, a 35-person shuttle will depart from The 1909 and make one drop-off at the Courtyard by Marriott Santa Monica. Please plan to use Uber or Lyft either from the hotel or from the venue.
