The Dillons

Our story began when we were just 12 years old, riding the same school bus. We used to sit across from each other in the very front, and every day I would listen to him and his friend making the most ridiculous jokes. My first thought was that he was a little weird… but also so cute and so funny. He says he thought I was quiet and cute. One day he slid his phone across the bus seat and told me to follow his Instagram. I told him my phone only worked on WiFi (which definitely wasn’t true). Somehow that moment turned into the beginning of everything. We officially started dating on November 24, 2018, and from then on we were inseparable. In the early days, he would write sweet notes on gum wrappers and fold them into little hearts for me — I still have every one of them. On September 6, 2025, he proposed during a hike in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. At the most peaceful, breathtaking view, he nervously asked me to marry him. From a middle school bus ride to a mountaintop proposal, our story has grown with us every step of the way. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter and start the rest of our lives together with all of you by our side.
