Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate with family and close friends. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love you little ones....however with the exception of our ring bearers; this is an adult only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Where is the ceremony & reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at Bowing Oaks in Jacksonville, Florida. The ceremony will be outside under a covered gazebo. Bowing Oaks is located at 7743 ALPHONS STREET JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA 32256

Is there free parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of free parking; however cars cannot be left overnight. If you do drive we encourage you to select a DD in advance for your own saftey!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Although the ceremony starts at 5pm, we recommend that guests arrive at 4:30pm so you can get settled, enjoy refreshments and music before the proceedings. Although we want to spend the whole day with you, please withhold from arriving prior to 4:30 as we will be taking bridal party photos on the grounds.

How do I RSVP? What if I RSVP late?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" page on our website and fill out the form. We look forward to celebrating with you! The offical RSVP card will be sent along with a deadline. Please RSVP as soon as possible; our catering and venue require a headcount by a certain date. If you miss the RSVP deadline, we will miss celebrating with you!

Do you need my dinner choice?

Answer

One of Mike and Ashley's favorite things is a good buffet so the reception dinner will be buffet style (in addition to a buffet during cocktail hour). There will be a wide range of options including: NY Strip Steak, Whole Tuscan Chicken, Penne alla Vodka, Salad, Mashed Potatoes, etc.

Will there by an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you- get ready to party!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we don't want any phones in our photos.

Will there be a welcome dinner?

Answer

As much as we want to spend the entire weekend with you, the night prior will be very intimate among just the bridal party following the ceremony rehersal. If you arrive prior to Saturday, check out the "Things to do" tab to see some of our favorite resturants, bars, coffee shops, etc.

Will there be a farewell breakfast?

Answer

As we hope the wedding will be a big party, we want to give you the chance to sleep-in the morning after. There will not be a farewell breakfast; however if you do not depart on Sunday- we invite you to join us to explore St. Augustine with the newly weds at 3pm.
