What is the attire?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire. Gentlemen, a suit and tie is ideal. Ladies, midi- to floor-length dresses are perfect. Our ceremony begins at 3:00 PM, with the reception following a little later at 6:00 PM, so please choose something elegant and comfortable for the day’s celebrations. Thank you for helping us make the day feel extra special!

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding reception a kid-free celebration. Our reception space also has limited capacity, and this helps us ensure everyone is comfortable. We hope this gives you the chance to enjoy a special night out, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

What about parking and transportation?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at and around the church for the ceremony. After the 3:00 PM ceremony, guests are welcome to enjoy light refreshments at the church or return to their hotel to relax, grab a drink, and get ready for the evening. Shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and the Hay House for the 6:00 PM reception.

Will there be refreshments between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Due to unforeseen logistical circumstances, the location for refreshments has changed from what is listed on the invitation. Instead of gathering at 1842 Inn, we will host a brief receiving line at the church immediately following the 3:00 PM ceremony. Light snacks will be available there for guests who would like to greet the bride and groom, including those who may not be able to attend the evening reception or who need to begin their travels home. Guests attending the reception are also welcome to return to their hotel to relax, grab a drink, and get ready for the evening before catching the shuttle to the Hay House for the 6:00 PM reception. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
