We did the research so you don't have to! These are all wonderful accommodations that can work for whatever your needs and/or desires are. Whether you want luxury, camping meets "glamping", or the classic beach motel, one of these are sure to fit your needs! There are also a ton of rental houses through Airbnb and Vrbo that are worth taking a look at if the following options aren't quite what you're looking for. Since our wedding will be small and therefore our guest list, we did not block rooms at any of these locations. Also, everyone's wants are different so we curated this list to help you decide! With that being said, we HIGHLY recommend not delaying booking wherever you choose to stay. Our wedding is during peak season on the Oregon Coast and demand for accommodations will be high.

Airport/Transit Recommendations

For those flying into Oregon, we recommend flying into Portland International Airport (PDX). From there it is about a 1.5-2 hour drive to Pacific City if you are planning to rent a car. Another option that would be cheaper ($8-$11 per person) but take longer (approx. 4.5 hours) would be to look into public transit from PDX to Pacific City. You can take a train through the MAX Station from PDX to a bus station in Portland. Then transfer to a bus that will drive you to Tillamook Transit Center which will then take you to Pacific City. If you are looking to save some money, don't mind a longer trip and are navigationally savvy when it comes to public transport, this is the option for you! Use the following website address to help you plan: https://www.rome2rio.com/s/Portland-Airport-PDX/Pacific-City While in Pacific City, depending where you choose to stay, you could get by without a vehicle. A lot of places are within walking distance. Or biking distance if you wanted to look into renting bikes! Uber and Lyft do operate in Pacific City however availability can be more limited. Local Taxi services such as Pacific Taxi Services and Newport Pacific Coast Cab are also options.
