Airport/Transit Recommendations

For those flying into Oregon, we recommend flying into Portland International Airport (PDX). From there it is about a 1.5-2 hour drive to Pacific City if you are planning to rent a car. Another option that would be cheaper ($8-$11 per person) but take longer (approx. 4.5 hours) would be to look into public transit from PDX to Pacific City. You can take a train through the MAX Station from PDX to a bus station in Portland. Then transfer to a bus that will drive you to Tillamook Transit Center which will then take you to Pacific City. If you are looking to save some money, don't mind a longer trip and are navigationally savvy when it comes to public transport, this is the option for you! A lot of places are within walking distance. Or biking distance if you wanted to look into renting bikes! Uber and Lyft do operate in Pacific City however availability can be more limited.
