Muriel's is our favorite stop when visiting home for delicious creole dinner. Our favorite dish is the shrimp grits with a GF chocolate flourless cake. You won't regret dining here! Fun Fact: In 1916 the brides great grandfather, Sam Taormina, purchased the building home to Muriels. The building served as a pasta factory and has remained in the family for over 100 years!
Cafe du Monde is home to the New Orleans famous beignet. Great spot for breakfast or a snack during your visit.
Fantastic buffet style brunch spot that has everything from gumbo, seafood, a carving station and omelet station. The outdoor patio is beautiful and typically has live jazz music to give you the real New Orleans experience. Several of the bride and groom's family and friends will be eating here Sunday at noon after the wedding. Feel free to join and make your own reservation!

Jackson Square is the heart of the city and a beautiful area to walk around. Art, music, and live entertainment fill the streets. Excellent area to people watch.

The National WWII Museum is a military history museum located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The Five Pavilion House has nearly 250,000 Artifacts. This is a must visit for history lovers!
