Connor and I have curated this party to celebrate all the wonderful people who have shaped who we are and contributed to our lives in heartfelt ways. Although our ceremony will be held privately in the morning, our reception will be open-house style. We warmly welcome children at our reception! As we’ll be celebrating on private property, we kindly ask that parents keep an eye on their little ones throughout the evening. Of course, if you’d prefer to enjoy a night off, we fully support you taking this opportunity for a well-deserved date night.
Connor and I have been starring in our own slow-burn rom-com since middle school. We noticed each other back then—the kind of “wait, do they like me too?” energy—but the timing was always just… off. Cue years of almosts. Then came our first job at a local movie theater, which, honestly, should’ve been the giveaway. Working side by side, sharing snacks, probably quoting movies way too much—it was classic “how are these two not together yet?” material. That’s where we really got to know each other, but of course, life kept doing its thing. We stayed in touch through college until, like in any good love story, we drifted apart for a bit. Fast forward to October 2019: our actual first date. Finally. And once we got started, it was like everything clicked into place. By March 2020, we moved in together—because when you know, you know. Oh, and in a plot twist no screenwriter could resist? We found out we had been in the same preschool class. Same classroom, same tiny humans, decades earlier. So basically, we’ve been orbiting each other our whole lives. In April of 2025, we got the chance to do something straight out of a quirky indie montage—we started transforming a salon into our home. Since then, we’ve been knee-deep in renovations, learning that nothing says romance quite like paint samples, late-night projects, and realizing you still like each other after. Through all the changes, the chaos, and the growth, we’ve never once second-guessed choosing each other. And then, on November 24th—just three days before my birthday—Connor proposed.
