From Kayla’s perspective: It was June 29th and there I was trying on like 6 different outfits with my roomie Caroline trying to find the perfect outfit for a ladies dinner the next night at the Rockaway Hotel. My sisters were coming into town and we were gonna be bougie and glam and get all dolled up. I knew tons of photos would be involved so I wanted the camera to capture my most chic self. As I debated between outfits I also texted my sister and she convinced me to wear this all white outfit. After all, I was in the stage of life where every other weekend was a bridal event, so there was very few opportunities for me to wear white. It was the start of summer and I was gonna rock this white outfit. And be ready for the shark bites and golden hour pics. But if you are on this website reading this story then you already know this was not about a ladies night at the hotel at all, in fact it was all a clever ruse. There we were on our way to the hotel when we stopped to take pictures on Ocean Avenue in Breezy. Again I suspected nothing. We walked down the walk getting closer to the beach I was still oblivious that standing 50 feet away was Matt, the love of my life waiting for me to see him so he could pop the question When I finally saw him at our beach I was in shock there he was on one knee asking me to marry him. Of course I said yes!! The rest is such a happy blur of smiles, popping Prosecco, and pictures on our favorite beach. Then there was surprise #2! A party with some close friends and family! I mean I can’t believe everyone pulled it off. It was truly one of the best nights of my life. We danced, we ate, we laughed, we cried (happy tears of course) and we partied. Now we are betrothed and we can’t to celebrate our marriage with all of you at the wedding!!!!
