Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, the reception will be indoors.
Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. We recommend you be there 45 mins to 1 hour before to allow the events to start on time. Those that arrive after the start of the ceremony will not be permitted to enter the chapel, but are more than welcome to stay for the reception.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear nice dresses, cocktail attire, or something similar. The gentlemen should wear a suit and tie, a dress shirt and dress pants, a sports coat, or something similar.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I mail the RSVP back or can I do it online?
Answer
Please RSVP online or text Melissa at 205-332-4023 as soon as possible so we can have an accurate head count. The deadline to respond is May 8, 2021. No RSVP means no seat!

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "decline," so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

If you want to bring a guest that wasn't addressed on the invite please include them on your RSVP.

Where should guests park?
Answer
There will be a parking lot provided for guests at the venue.

Will there be food and drinks?
Answer
The main entrée is a Taco Bar! Beef and chicken tacos will be available along with all the toppings, and of course chips and queso. For dessert there will be the wedding cake and a brownie sundae bar. To drink there will be beer and wine available, along with water and lemonade.

Can I take pictures at the wedding and post to social media?
Answer
We kindly ask that you keep your phones/cameras put away during the ceremony, our photographer will capture plenty of pictures that we will share with you. However, at the reception we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ScalesGotItDunn so that we can see all of your pictures!

You can reach our registries from this website by clicking on "Registry" at the top of the page. We are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target.
