There are many wineries within Mendocino County, closest to Fort Bragg is Pacific Star Winery. If you are traveling North from Cloverdale, we would suggest stopping at one of the many wineries within Mendocino's most popular wine tasting region, Anderson Valley (AV) Anderson Valley is known for it's cool climate wines, similar to those in the Willamette Valley. Some of our favorite wineries to visit in AV are, Pennyroyal Farm, Foursight Wines, Roederer Sparking Wines and Twomey (where Makenzie worked as a cellar intern).
