We met during an IEP meeting at Bluff Elementary School in the winter of 2018. I was a student studying occupational therapy in the school setting and David was a 5th grade teacher. Later in 2019, I was hired to work at Bluff as an occupational therapy assistant, causing David's and my paths to cross again. Throughout the beginning of the school year, we started to get to know each other and began dating in November of 2019. Our relationship survived a global pandemic, school closures and months indoors. During that time, we learned many things about each other and fell more in love each day.
