We’re getting married!

We met our freshman year of high school, where we both played on the tennis team and had an English class together. Though an initial fling didn't materialize into the love we share now, our group of friends kept us in contact throughout high school. When feelings reemerged our senior year, Brandon wrote a poem to ask me to be his official girlfriend, and our relationship began to blossom. Now, after years together filled with love, laughter, joy, and even hardships, not a thing in this world can keep us apart.

Fast forward 9 years later… Brandon’s family and I had been planning a surprise birthday weekend for Brandon. Little did I know, he was in on it and it was all a master plan for the proposal. I took Brandon out to eat and to the driving range until it was time to meet with his family at San Clemente State Beach where his birthday scavenger hunt was to start. On the sand there was an elaborate set up of balloons, flowers, champagne, pillows and a blanket. As we walked closer to the set up I began to suspect this wasn't for Brandon... We got to the blanket and he got down on his knee and popped the question and I said YES!
