We're getting Married!

They happened to live in the same apartment building her junior year, his senior year at Purdue University. They first met after he and his roommates knocked on her apartment door and offered her and her roommates PBR and a place to party that night. As sweet as their offer was, she didn't take them up on it. By the spring semester, his course load had lightened and they started hanging out. By March 2013, they were "official". Fast forward exactly one year. He was selected to go to flight school and was headed to Pensacola, FL. She had convinced him and her family that it made the most sense for her to move to Pensacola to be with him after graduation. They found a cute apartment and adopted a tiny black cat. He worked tirelessly in flight school and she as an ER scribe. Eventually he was selected to be a helicopter pilot and they were off to Norfolk, VA in December 2015. After a few months in Norfolk, she moved to Indianapolis to attend Butler University's Physician Assistant program. They kept in contact by making Blue Aprons together over FaceTime, playing video games online, and visiting each other occasionally. During that time he was selected to be a Dusty Dog in HSC-7 and had his first taste of life aboard the USS Eisenhower during deployment. He came home safely, and she eventually graduated. After graduation, she packed up, moved back to Norfolk, and found a job as a PA in the hospitalist division at DePaul Medical Center. A few months later, he proposed (and they adopted another tiny kitten)!
