Katie and Connor met May 3rd, 2013. Two weeks later, Connor asked her to be his girlfriend and to much of his surprise, she said no! She knew he wouldn't go for the 47 miles between them and make it work. But he fought and said he would; for 6 years they would be 47 miles apart. The past 6 years have been a roller coaster of a ride for them; putting them through every obstacle in life. They have been there for each other through some of the best news & worst news they could recieve. They have grown up together from 18 yr olds to 25 year olds. Together they have created new traditions like: going to the beach for Katie’s birthday, NYC every year during Christmas time, creating new recipes together, always stopping for coffee before every road trip, Black Friday Shopping in the crazy malls, and going back to their favorite restaurants when traveling. Now they live in the little town of Media, PA with their little puppy, Phoebe.

For Katie's 25th Birthday, Katie and Connor went to Ocean City, MD. It was a tradition they had every year to celebrate a long weekend away at their favorite place. Katie was annoying and always wanted to wake up at the crack of dawn, actually earlier than that, to see the sunrise. This year she had to drag him out of bed at around 5:15am, get dressed, and pack a blanket and camera. They walked down to the beach at 120th St; their go to spot. Connor had music playing and they were taking pictures. The minute the sun began to rise, Connor played their song, and Katie knew something was happening. He twisted her around to face her and got down on one knee. Katie began to ball her eyes out and he asked her to marry him. She didn't even answer because of purely how shocked she was, but eventually said yes. She was on cloud nine for the rest of the day and couldn't even go back to sleep.
