We met on a dating app, while living in Nashville, in April of 2018. After talking for a bit, it was a pleasant surprise to find out that we were both from Virginia Beach, living only a few miles from each other our whole lives and never having met one another. ALSO, when we were discussing meeting in person, we found out that we lived in the same neighborhood in Nashville!!! It was another weird coincidence (or a sign, as we like to say now). Shortly after meeting in person at a beer garden we fell for each other hard and quickly. We had commonalities such as faith, living life to the fullest, closeness with our families, and ambitious goals for our futures. It did not take long for us to realize that we wanted to spend our lives together, and we get excited counting down the days to our big day!

We have always had a tradition, that whenever we would go to our favorite restaurant in Nashville, Barcelona Wine Bar, we would spend our waiting time in Old Glory, a nearby speakeasy. Part of that tradition was taking photos in the photo booth together. On what Natalia thought would be an ordinary date night, I nervously, but excitedly put the ring in my back pocket. When we got to Old Glory and into the booth, I pulled out the ring for the second photo to capture the exact moment that I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me. Thank God she said yes :) We have collected over twenty strips of photos from that booth throughout our time together, and now we get to add this very special one to our collection.
