We have both known each other since we were little, but never hung out with the same friend groups. Then in 2021 we both volunteered at Camp Anavah for the summer, and pretty much from the first day of training we were put together for games, groups, etc. And since we were stuck together for the whole summer, we had no choice but to become friends. We even had a staged beach wedding that the campers put on for us. After camp had ended we were still hanging out and talking a lot, all the while not realizing that the other one had strong feelings. When Christmas rolled around, our younger siblings put their heads together and devised a plan to get us together, I'll spare you the details. As you can imagine, that plan worked and in January of 2022 we officially started dating! Before we knew it a year had gone by, and many many memories had been made. Then in June of 2023 we went on a family vacation, and while on a morning beach walk, Christian popped the question! Sayre said yes ;) We are both so excited to start this new chapter in our lives, and so blessed to have the support from both of our families and our friends. The Lord has been such a stronghold in this relationship, and He has certainly taught us many life lessons. much love, S+C
