We met in the heart of New Orleans, on the rooftop of the Four Winds. As soon as we started talking, we didn’t stop—and if you know Mike, you know that his golden retriever energy makes that pretty easy. I had moved to New Orleans for CRNA school, never expecting that I’d also find the love of my life. Together, we made the city our home. From dancing in Mardi Gras parades to messy crawfish boils and spontaneous nights bar-hopping through the Quarter, every moment turned into an adventure. We spent four months apart early in our relationship, relying on FaceTime calls that lasted for hours and constant messages to stay connected. Even from a distance, our bond only grew stronger—proof that what we had was something truly special. The Friday after I graduated, surrounded by our friends and family, Mike got down on one knee in our favorite hotel—the Roosevelt—and asked me to spend forever with him. After a brief chapter in Denver, we decided to plant roots in Cincinnati, Ohio. We adopted our sweet pup, Glo, and now spend our time exploring the city, embracing the seasons, and cheering on the Bengals, Reds, and of course, the Saints. Mike is thriving at GE Aerospace, and I’ve started my journey at Mercy Health. We are so excited to share this next chapter—and our wedding day—with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story.
