Where should I book a hotel room?

Answer

That depends! There are a few different options. The Mother and Father of the Groom have reserved a block of rooms at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder, Colorado. If you would like to be part of this block, please call the St. Julien Hotel at 720.406.9696 and mention the Saylor/Tagg Wedding. If you do not want to stay at the St. Julien Hotel but want to stay in Boulder (near the venue), we highly recommend the Hotel Boulderado. Other options include the Boulder Marriott Hotel & Spa and Homewood Suites by Hilton Boulder. The Mother and Father of the Bride live in Thornton. If you would like to stay somewhere closer to them, we advise booking a hotel room in Westminster or Thornton near I-25 and 144th Avenue, or near I-25 and 120th Avenue.

Is there a Wedding Registry?

Yes! We have registered for a few things from Costco and are expanding our wish list every week. We plan on registering with another retailer as well. Keep checking back. Cash is always appreciated! Click the Registry tab for more details.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Good, we hope! In early June, Boulder, Colorado is usually warm and sunny with highs in the mid 70s. Occasionally we see afternoon thunderstorms but they usually pass within 20 minutes. In case of a heavy rain, we plan to delay the ceremony until the rain stops. In case of light rain, a light jacket is a good idea. Nights can also be chilly here since we are over a mile above sea level. In general, it's good to have a warm layer for the early morning and late evening, but make sure you can be comfortable in the heat of the afternoon sun.
