FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sierra Enticknap and Harout Shamamian
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We’d love to hear from you soon, as our venue deadline is September 13, 2026.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Santa Barbara Formal Long dresses for women and suits for men. We encourage a soft, coastal color palette—think neutrals, pastels, earth tones, and muted florals. Dressy, elegant, and polished, but not black tie.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. Due to limited parking and a short walk to the garden lawn, we recommend arriving by 12:30 PM.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ll be staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Santa Barbara and would love for you to join us. The hotel is a short walk to both the ceremony and reception, offers reasonably priced rooms, and has a great pool bar. We’ve arranged a discounted rate for our guests—simply follow the instructions below to reserve your room. 1. Go to www.marriott.com/sbacs 2. Enter dates of stay 3. How many rooms and guests 4. Under Special Rates, select the drop down and select “Corp/Promo Code” 5. Enter the code W14 6. Select “View Rates” 5. Select room type and book reservation

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking is available at City Lot #7 (Library Garage), located at 1115 Anacapa Street, directly across from the courthouse. The first 75 minutes are free, and parking is approximately $3 per hour after that.

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Overnight parking is available at City Lot #6 (Granada Garage), located at 1221 Anacapa Street, directly across from La Amada. The garage is open 24 hours, allows overnight parking (up to 72 hours), and costs approximately $3 per hour with a $20 daily maximum. Additional public garages are also available nearby.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Trolleys will be available to bring guests from the Courtyard Marriott to the ceremony site from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. After the ceremony, hop back on for a ride to the reception—with a little Santa Barbara tour along the way—from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We’d love to spend a little extra time with you! Join us Thursday evening for a relaxed welcome bonfire on the beach. On Saturday afternoon, we encourage everyone to check out the Funk Zone—Santa Barbara’s hub for great wine bars and breweries—for a casual, go-at-your-own-pace bar crawl. It’s a fun way to explore and connect with other guests throughout the day.
