FAQs

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

At this time, we have set September 1, 2026 as the deadline, so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please note that your RSVP indicates the number of seats reserved for your party. If a plus-one was not included and you wish to request one, kindly contact us at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to accommodate.

Question

Are we allowed to bring children?

Answer

We love your little ones dearly, but we encourage you to enjoy a night out by arranging childcare if you’re able. If that’s not possible, please don’t hesitate to contact one of us—we’re happy to talk it through.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be on the Shipwreck Deck, an outdoor space. The reception is indoors, so we're prepared for any weather. If it rains, we'll move the ceremony inside without missing a beat.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We advise arriving to the venue by 4:30 PM. This will allow ample time to be comfortably seated before our 5:00 PM start. Otherwise, you may have to wait until the ceremony concludes to avoid disruptions.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire is requested. Recommended—Women should wear cocktail dresses, men should wear suits. While guests are welcome to enjoy the breathtaking coastal bluffs, we recommend wearing comfortable flat-soled shoes or block heels to navigate the area with ease. Bring a light jacket as evenings in Santa Cruz get chilly.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Seymour Center offers ample parking for our guests and is free on weekends. There is also Chargepoint stations available on-site. Please note that the center does not own the parking lot.

Question

Answer

We are securing a room block at a hotel conveniently located near our wedding venue. We want to make your travel planning as convenient as possible. We recommend exploring accommodation options in Santa Cruz that best suit your budget and preferences for our wedding weekend.

Question

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Answer

Dinner service will be buffet-style. We’re happy to accommodate, please let us know any special dietary restrictions and contact us before the RSVP deadline.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a honeymoon and newlywed fund! While your presence means the most to us, digital contributions are welcome via Venmo or Zelle. A card box will also be available at the wedding welcome table.

Question

Will there be a welcome/ pre-party?

Answer

We're delighted to invite you to a relaxed welcome gathering at Humble Sea Brewery (Swift St) on October 10, 2026, from 1–4 PM. After the event concludes, you're welcome to enjoy the main taproom at your leisure.
