You will need a valid passport to visit Mexico. Please plan in advance as the passport process takes time. We recommend applying for your passport ASAP if you haven't done so already. The typical processing time is 10-12 weeks! If you already have a passport, it must be valid at least 6 months after your date of travel. If it will expire before then, it must be renewed. MEXICAN TOURIST CARD: A Mexican tourist card will be provided by the airline on your flight to Mexico. Both portions of the card must be filled out and presented upon arrival in Mexico. Please keep the exit portion safe & handy as you will need it for your return flight home.
We are recommending that guests book accommodations from Thursday July 14, 2022 to Monday July 18, 2022. Our room block includes discounted rates during those days. If you would like to extend your stay longer, please reach out to our wonderful travel agent, Nicole. She can assist with extending the group rate price to your desired dates.
Food and alcohol are included in your accommodations package. There are five à la carte restaurants, a buffet, a grill, a café and three bars on site. Please also review our "Things to Do" tab to see what activities the resort offers. Our linked travel website has additional information about our resort.
Since the resort is all-inclusive, you won't need to pay for any food or drinks at the resort. We recommend you bring $1 bills if you would like to tip anyone who provides you with extraordinary service during your stay (shuttle drivers, baggage handlers, excursion tour guides, room service, maids, waitresses, bartenders, etc.). The vast majority of stores and vendors will take US cash and/or credit cards, so you do not need pesos. You may want to advice your banking institution that you will be traveling in advance and check for any service fees. It is also recommended to check your phone service before traveling to avoid any international fees.
We will have a Welcome Cocktail on Thursday, July 14. This is listed on the Schedule page of this site.

The area that our resort is in is very safe. The village of Puerto Aventuras is a gated complex with marina and visitors go through additional security to enter the gates. Upon entering Puerto Aventuras, you will go through another gate to enter our resort, and only resort guests are allowed in. The surrounding area is a safe community to walk around in and explore. Therefore, you are very safe both on and off resort in our area. Of course, the recommended excursions under our "Things To Do" tab are safe as well.
