We’re getting married!

We originally met through a dating app, but our first few dates were over the phone as Jess was out of town visiting friends. We bonded over our love of cooking fresh foods, live music, dogs, and our shared passion of serving the Lord. Our first real date was super romantic! Jess suggested this awesome salad and wrap bar she read about...which ended up being a stand in the food court of a shopping mall. Thankfully, Chad wasn’t weirded out and just rolled with it.

Knowing the romantic ambiance of the food court, Chad took Jess back to the parking lot where he first saw her. Unfortunately, due to COVID we couldn’t share a meal again. However, he instead took us to the lake where we ended our first date listening to music on a swinging bench. With a view of the sun setting over the lake, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. Tears were shed. She said YES! There were fireworks. It was magical.
