Is there a block of rooms reserved at a local hotel?

Answer

Yes! There are rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre - East Mountain. To take advantage of the group discount you must book your room(s) on or before Wednesday, September 13th. Rooms may still be available after this date at regular price.

Can I check into the hotel early?

Answer

Hotel check in is listed at 4:00pm, but the hotel will accommodate guests arriving before 4:00pm as rooms become available. Unfortunately, this is not a guarantee so please plan accordingly.

I noticed there is time in-between the ceremony and reception. Is there somewhere to go?

Answer

The bar at the hotel typically does not open until 4pm, but they are currently checking with a bartender to see if they will come in early for anyone looking for something to do in-between our ceremony & reception. Check back here for an update!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus from Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre - East Mountain to and from the reception at The Banks Waterfront.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, due to the venue space we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking, however, there will be a shuttle provided from the hotel to the reception so you can enjoy the night without worry!
