Sawyer and Katey Grace’s story began in high school, where they met through mutual friends and quickly realized they had an eye for each other. What started as a friendly smile soon grew into something deeper as they found comfort, laughter, and joy in the company of each other. In December of 2020, they officially began dating, stepping into a journey that would be filled with both joy and challenge. Like any meaningful relationship, their time together has included ups and downs, but through every trial the Lord stayed at the center, only strengthening their relationship. Each season strengthened their trust, deepened their love, and reaffirmed their commitment to grow together. One of their favorite things to do has always taking their dogs to play at Pebble Hill, just up the hill from where they live—a place that quietly became part of their story. On what Katey Grace thought was just another normal evening getting ready for a girls’ night, everything changed. When she noticed her friends driving past Pebble Hill, she realized it was in fact not a girls night. After five years together, Sawyer had planned the most meaningful proposal, turning a familiar place into a moment she would never forget. With nothing but gratitude for how faithful God has been, Sawyer and Katey Grace are so excited to begin this next chapter of their lives together, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them along the way.
