Sawyer and Kelsey first met on Kelsey’s birthday in 2019 at Lil' Cooperstown Bar & Grill in Newberg. Each was there with a friend, just out enjoying the evening. From across the bar, Kelsey noticed Sawyer and decided to strike up a conversation. They chatted for a while, but eventually, Sawyer and his friend got up to leave. As they walked out, Kelsey turned to her friend and said, “Oh my gosh, he was so cute!” Her friend immediately encouraged her to go after him—so she did. Kelsey ran out into the parking lot and asked Sawyer for his Instagram. Fast forward six years, and you’re now reading their story on their wedding website. In that time, they’ve become best friends and built a beautiful life together. In February of 2023 during snowy walk to downtown Newberg, they decided to stop into Ken & Daughter Jewelers and picked out a ring together. They got engaged in April 2023 in Manzanita, OR. Today, they share a home filled with love—and two adorable cats, Poppy and Pinot. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their big day with their closest friends and family. Sawyer and Kelsey look forward to spending the rest of their lives together—creating lasting memories, laughing often, growing side by side, and starting a family of their own someday.
