We ask that you please RSVP and let us know of any dietary restrictions by Friday, September 12, 2025. You can RSVP on this website! If you go to the top of the page (or tap on the three lines in the corner if you're on a phone), you will find our RSVP page. There, you can also leave a lovely note for us as we start our lives together :)
Please wear what is most comfortable for a cool autumn evening! We would love for you to join us in wearing our wedding colors! Please see our Gallery page for examples of color. Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in a shaded garden, while our reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the ceremony on a paved pathway, so there is no need to worry about walking in grass. As we are all well aware, Sawyer loves nothing more than planning a themed party. Our overarching theme is Sun and Moon. Our ceremony will be the 'sun' aspect, with lots of warm and bright colors. Our reception will be the 'moon', with cool tones and string lights. Please feel free to go as simple or all out when considering the theme! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable :)
Yes! The MSV has an easily accessible parking lot beside the gardens. For the reception, there is some street parking around the restaurant (free on weekends!) and a parking garage just around the corner.
In theatre terms, house opens at 4:00pm with curtain at 4:15pm! So, please arrive comfortably early to find a seat!
We are planning an unplugged ceremony, so please allow our incredible photographer to do what they do best! We will be sharing all photos and memories with you afterwards! However, please feel free to take as many selfies and videos as you please during our reception (as long as you tag us in them!). If you post them on socials, please use our wedding hashtag #WeavingTheWebbs
We have decided to do a Honeymoon Fund! We have more than enough and would love to start our life together with an experience of our dreams! You can find a place to donate under our Registry tab on this website!
Unfortunately, it was not in our budget to book a hotel block, but here are some of our local suggestions! The George Washington is a beautiful, historic (and haunted!) hotel right in the middle of Old Town Winchester. It’s also within walking distance to our reception! Along with many other hotels, there are so many unique rentals available! Airbnb and Vrbo both have many options for local spaces that are right in the heart of Winchester. Make sure to take a look at our Things To Do page to visit our local haunts and explore our awesome city!
It's an incredible city with a rich history and an incredible arts scene. After living here for a year, it still feels like we're discovering new places every day! The only downside is that people here think that running red lights is their full time job. If you get the chance to stay a little longer, we highly recommend seeing Shenandoah National Park just a little over an hour south. Alternatively, if you want to visit before the wedding to scope out the best meals and places to stay, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre (associated with the university) puts on three incredible, Broadway-style shows each summer! This year, the docket is Singin' In the Rain, Little Women the Musical (Sawyer's favorite), and Million Dollar Quartet. We would love to tour guide you around our cool city!
Ahead of time, please feel free to reach out to Sawyer and Amanda with any questions. If you have questions or concerns day-of, please reach out to Amanda's sister/our unofficial wedding coordinator, Anna Webb.
