One of our favorite things to do is walk around Duval and the waterfront by the Conch Republic restaurant. Duval Street is the heart and soul of Key West, a lively stretch packed with energy, charm, and iconic island vibes. Spanning from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean, this famous street is lined with colorful shops, historic bars, art galleries, and restaurants.
If you are coming early, the sunset celebration at Mallory Square is an absolute must! Each evening, the waterfront comes alive with vibrant energy, street performers, local artisans, and live music create a festive atmosphere as the sun dips below the horizon in a stunning display of color. It’s one of the most iconic experiences in Key West, and the perfect way to end the day with a cocktail in hand and toes in the sand. Don’t miss it!
