What should I pack?
Answer
We will have a packing list coming soon, so check the website later on (or your email). First thing on it: a COSTUME. There WILL be a contest. Also, Atlanta has surprise weather sometimes. Pack a variety of clothing, to prepare for the uncertain weather. For the wedding day, the vibe is "Fun Fancy" so dress accordingly, but don't overthink it either :)
Question
When should I book my flight?
Answer
Now! If you want the shuttle, you should arrive in Atlanta no later than 1 pm on Friday, March 22nd, and book your flight out to depart no earlier than 2 or 3 pm on Monday, March 25th. Otherwise, there are affordable car rentals and we are happy to help match people up to carpool. For some, it may make sense to fly in Thursday evening and work from Atlanta on Friday. If that is the case for you, let us know, and we can help support you with accommodations in Atlanta for that night, and a ride up to camp the next day.

What if I'm not sure I can come?
Answer
This weekend is an opportunity for our communities to come together and for each person to bring their authentic selves to the table. That said, we understand a full weekend is a lot to give, especially considering traveling, working, etc, and there tends to be a lot of feelings of obligation around weddings that add even more stress. We want to emphasize that our friendships and relationships with you are not defined by whether you can or cannot make it to our wedding, we cherish our relationships with you regardless. Please do not feel stressed or pressure to come - we understand if, for any reason, you feel you cannot attend, and we will happily celebrate with you at another point!

What do I do with my child(ren)?
Answer
We want this weekend to be a time for you to be present. To this end, for this weekend, we ask you to come celebrate without your children. We recognize the complications this may add logistically, and we hope that you will forgive us for that. Ultimately, we want you to be with us without distractions, even though your kid is really cute.

If there is something you'd like to contribute (time, talent, etc) to our wedding, please text us or email us at savyonandshai@gmail.com. We are excited to showcase the talents our friends and family have throughout the weekend, and there will be many opportunities to do so! Also, if you have a great costume idea for us, let us know. That would be the MOST helpful thing you could contribute.
