We met the old fashioned way, on an app. We almost didn’t match because we were 1 mile further than the 20 mile limits we set, but the algorithms always know and suggested we connect. What started as a text chain, quickly turned into a phone conversation and very quickly to dinner on our first date. I will never forget how beautiful she looked as I entered the restaurant. I may have audibly gasped that this woman was as real and genuine as her pictures and voice. Before the night was over, we had already scheduled our next date for three weeks later. (To be fair, we probably texted or talked several times a day between those dates) Some time later, whilst trapped at home sick with my young son, Wolfgang, I had no choice but to accept her request to come help nurse us back to health. While I knew by then that I was in love with her, seeing how quickly those two took to each other, sold it to my heart that I had found my partner to carry forth in this life. So yeah, time has flown by for us. 2024 was a huge year. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and continue to include you in our story.
