FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations will follow with additional details and RSVP deadlines.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks reserved for guests on Friday and Saturday. If you need any additional recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Question

When should out of town guest arrive and depart?

Answer

If your travel schedule permits, we suggest arriving by early Friday afternoon and departing mid-day on Sunday. This timing will allow you to fully enjoy all the weekend activities. Stay tuned for more details about the Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code for each weekend event is noted on the schedule page. The ceremony is dressy casual, followed by a Black Tie optional reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have put a lot of thought into our guest list. If there is a guest invited it will be noted on your formal invitation.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided from the hotels to the ceremony. There is plenty of street parking as well as space for Uber drop off.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 12:30 PM to allow time for you to park, find your seat, and say hello to any friends or family you may know. This will help ensure we're ready to begin at 1:00 PM

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking available at both. If you are staying at either Wedding Hotel, you will be able to walk to the reception to allow for more fun and no stress of finding a DD.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is approximately a three-hour gap between the ceremony and the reception—closer to two hours when factoring in driving time. During this break, feel free to explore some of our favorite spots, such as Niagara Falls or The Place. For local guests staying only one night at the Courtyard Marriott, this is also a great opportunity to check in and settle into your room.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

We are not providing formal transportation to and from the reception. However, the venue is conveniently located on the same street as the designated hotel blocks, making it an easy walk to and from The Admiral Room. For those who prefer not to walk, the free above-ground Metro Rail is an excellent alternative. The hotels are directly across from the Canalside stop, and The Admiral Room is across from the Seneca stop—just one stop apart. Trains run approximately every 20 minutes. To check out exact metro times please use: https://metro.nfta.com/legacy/metro/pdfs/146.pdf

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

While we want nothing more than to have this day last forever, we will conclude at The Admiral Room at 11:00pm.

For all the days along the way
