We met in high school . He would always say, "I'm going to make you my girlfriend one day!" Meanwhile, I was looking at him like yeah right that won't happen. Didn't know his humorous personality would win me over. Fast forward 10yrs later and he's about to be my husband! I guess it's true when they say never say never.

I planned a trip to Atlanta to celebrate his birthday. While there, we went to dinner at Pappadeaux Seafood. When it was time for desert, a plate with "Will you marry me?" with a piece of cheesecake was presented. I was shocked and overwhelmed with joy. He got on one knee and of course I said YES. And to make it even more special, he hired someone to catch our special moment on video. I couldn't fathom how he made his bday weekend all about me! It's definitely a day I'll never forget.
