We are so incredibly grateful for YOU! Thank you for being part of our journey, for your continuous support, and for being part of our life together. We are so excited to do life together, and could not do it without our village of family and friends who have been there for each step along the way. Our story starts a long time ago when we met at Camps Sea Gull and Seafarer when we were somewhere around 10 years old. After running in similar circles, our first memory is meeting one year when we both were on the sailing racing team. We stayed in contact through the years, despite living on opposite ends of the US, and always got to see each other during our summers as staff members at Camp. Chas went on to be a director at Sea Gull while Savannah graduated from Wake Forest and moved back to the West Coast. We reconnected a few years later and began dating long distance. Chas finally convinced her to try out Raleigh and the rest is history.

From Chas' perspective: There was no better place to propose than where we met: Camp Seafarer. We arranged a weekend getaway with one of our camp friends under the guise that we were showing Camp to her significant other for the first time. Little did Savannah know, they were both in on the surprise. Our friends had an "unexpected" call come up and I convinced Savannah to go on a walk while we waited. We wandered to a grassy knoll that has a beautiful view of camp and I asked Savannah to marry me in front of the lake. From Savannah's perspective: I said yes!
