In lieu of gifts, we gladly accept donations toward our honeymoon!
We would love for our guests to dress in cocktail or formal attire, keeping with the elegant and celebratory vibe of the day. Since our wedding is in the fall, we encourage autumn-inspired colors like deep reds, oranges, golds, greens, and earthy tones, which will complement the season beautifully. The wedding is taking place outdoors in Virginia during the fall, where the weather can be cool and windy. We suggest bringing a jacket, wrap, or shawl that matches your outfit to stay comfortable throughout the day and evening. Oh, and one more thing—please leave the white dresses to the bride! We promise there are plenty of other gorgeous colors to choose from.
If your invitation was addressed to you alone, we kindly ask that you attend solo. If a guest was included, their name will appear on the invitation. Keeping our guest list limited allows us to create a more intimate and special day. Thank you for understanding!
If children were not listed on your invitation, we kindly ask that you make other arrangements for them. Thank you for helping us maintain the atmosphere we’re planning for our special day!
Fall colors are likely to be at their peak during the wedding weekend, so be sure to take some time to enjoy the stunning foliage while you’re here. Explore the Jefferson National Forest area for uninterrupted scenic drives.
Parking is available on-site. Expect to park at the bottom of the hill, but guests with mobility needs may be dropped off at the house. Please note: Carpooling will be best as there is limited space for parking.
