Wayfarers / Flathead Lake State Park
This is a fantastic area to enjoy Flathead lake and soak up some sun. The water is shallow for kids to go swimming and play in the water. Their is camping locations along with day-use areas.
Jewel Basin
Montana's Jewel Basin is a day hiker's paradise and only a half-hour drive from downtown Kalispell. The area is studded with 25 alpine lakes and offers 35 miles of hiking trails and expansive views of the Flathead Valley to the west and Hungry Horse Reservoir and the Great Bear Wilderness to the east. Hikes range from easy to strenuous depending on which route you choose. All trails involve some elevation gain.
Base Camp Bigfork, LLC
This is your go-to spot for all things fun. They have kayak, paddle board, and mountain bike rentals along with guided tours.
Glacier Raft Company
Located on the edge of Glacier National Park, you can experience the best white water rafting Montana has to offer in addition to fly fishing, kayaking and horseback riding.

Gorgeous location that looks out over Flathead lake with seating on the patio as well as inside dining.

A lively spot to sit level with the water. They frequently have live music and serve decent food with good drinks.

Located in the heart of Bigfork with delicious homemade margaritas and fantastic appetizers and dishes.
Echo Lake Cafe
This is an iconic breakfast spot for the entire valley thus plan on setting aside a chunk of time for the experience. There is almost always a line, but they have some seating set outside along with some golf clubs to keep you entertained in the grassy lawn.
