Unfortunately, due to COVID we have been separated by border closures since mid March. Never did we imagine, two weeks earlier, when Ryan proposed, that we would be separated for the duration of our engagement. However, we have worked hard to make the best of it. From lots of FaceTime calls (which we are already accustomed to) , playing games and watching movies over Zoom, to meeting at where our countries meet and going for a walk with the borderline between us. We are antsy to see each other again and trusting the Lord's timing and plans but we covet your prayers in this time for patience, grace and ultimately that the Lord would make a way for us to be together.
As is everything else, this is truly in the Lord's hands and depends on our immigration/visa route. We'll spare you the nitty gritty details of our visa process but our end goal is to live in Bellingham together for our first few years of marriage.
