Zach and Robb have been friends since Robb originally moved to Asheville in 2017; he is the reason Robb and Savannah met! He founded Strength Ratio, an incredible weightlifting gym in town. He is kind and loving, and shows up big for his friends at all times. He loves weightlifting, cycling, his pups, and his family both near and far.

Robb has known him forever;) Jospeh took all the lovely engagement photos of us seen on our site. He is incredibly smart, a talented engineer/coder/photographer jack of all trades, who loves the ocean and animals. He is also a pretty awesome brother!

Robb has known John since high school. John had a major influence on Robb's career path in the world of video; they used to make funny youtube videos together! John works for Nickelodeon in NYC and loves music, movies, and art.

Savannah and Patrick met in HOJO, the largest (and many would say crappiest) dorm at Chapel Hill. Nevertheless, they forged an early freshman year friendship built on sugar and laughs. Patrick's sense of humor is always what shines through in every interaction with him. He is wickedly funny, insanely smart, and a wonderfully loyal friend. He lives in Chicago and loves his corgi Merlin, working out, travel, and a really great costume.

Eden and Savannah have been friends since birth:) Eden lived in Telluride for many years, and Savannah visited her yearly for bouts of skiing and adventure. She then moved to Carbondale, and finally to Asheville, and now lives 5 minutes from Savannah. Eden is goofy and smart, an extremely loyal friend, and always up for an adventure. She is a Reiki Master and loves yoga, gardening, self-development, traveling, and her + her partner's pup Teddy

Shelby and Savannah have been friends since birth:) Shelby moved to Telluride from Australia, and was kind enough to share her floor bed several years while Savannah visited. She also moved to Asheville and adds a degree of levity that is unmatched to all family hangs. She loves working out, has a passion for helping people through her job as a ACT team social worker, enjoys a good beer, and especially loves all puppers.

Lisa and Savannah have been friends since 1st grade! Not sure what they originally bonded over, but a lifelong friendship built on books and general nerdiness has grown strong ever since (*nonwithstanding one afternoon where a fight ensued over whether getting your ears pierced was a stupid idea or not). She and Savannah did their first big solo trip together to Europe after college graduation, and neither has stopped traveling since! Lisa is kind and thoughtful, intelligent, well-read, and always quick with an encouraging word. She is a wonderful friend to everyone in her life. She lives in Washington DC and loves travel, dogs, cycle class, her niece, reading, and engineering jokes by XKCD.

Courtney and Savannah have been friends since they were 18, where they had a deep and meaningful conversation about cross country running on the bus back to their dorm. They continue those deep conversations to this day! Courtney is a force to be reckoned with; she is often referred to as 'the nicest person I've ever met' by essentially strangers, but she is also whip-smart, an incredibly creative writer, passionate about weightlifting and social justice, and an emotional rock for her family and friends. She loves hikes with her dogs, books that expose her to new ideas, sherry, and videos of birds on Instagram.

Trishey and Savannah met in PA school, where they forged a friendship essentially because they were the only liberal arts majors in their respective classes. They became much closer at both of their first jobs in Raleigh, working overlapping trauma cases and swapping eye rolls in the surgeons lounge. Eventually they had drinks, realized how incredibly similar they are, and continue to leave each other regular rambling voice memos to this day. Trishey is a kickass cerebrovascular skull base neurosurgery PA, and knows more about the brain than 99.999% of the population. She is empathetic, hilarious, and thoughtful to a fault. She is passionate about farming/gardening, yoga, her Catholic faith, her many nieces and nephews, cooking, and complaining about/loving on her rhodesian ridgeback Rigby.

Sarah and Savannah met in their yoga teacher training, and quickly realized how much they enjoyed each other's company. They quickly bonded over, in retrospect, nothing specific so much as mutual appreciation for the others' energy and approach to the world. They have seen each other through breakups, single lady eras, new relationships, engagements, and now marriage! Sarah is wildly intelligent, calm and confident, thoughtful, and the biggest cheerleader to each person lucky enough to call her friend. She is a passionate yogini, a wonderful cook, a lover of music with a PhD in musicology, and the best mom in the world to her baby Julia. She loves the ocean, good coffee, and quality time with her many girlfriends.

Erin and Savannah met in college, and were lucky enough to live together through several years of Isley St shenanigans. they both went into healthcare graduate programs post-college, and swap stories of their job frustrations during college friend hangs. Erin is an incredibly loyal friend, and one of the most down to earth people I've ever met. She is funny, thoughtful, smart, and her dry humor can diffuse any situation. She loves her pup, relaxing at the beach, and good music.
Julia Montgomery

Julia and Savannah met through their gym in Asheville, where they initially realized they were both in the medical field and hit it off over talking about funny patients and their beloved pets. She and Savannah love to talk their pups on long walks/hikes together and love exchanging long voice memos on busy hospital days. She is an amazing listener and a loyal friend, in addition to being smart and a great artist. Julia is finishing her first year of psychiatry residency and loves her dog Finn, long hikes, cooking, reading, and weightlifting.

Ariel and Savannah hit it off when they were placed on the same hallway freshman year, and realized their roommates both kind of sucked. They immediately bonded over similar taste in music and shots, and while thankfully mostly outgrowing the latter over the years, still both enjoy swapping songs. Ariel is strong-willed, smart, passionate and driven. She was in the Peace Corps in Morocco, a Fulbright scholar in Mexico, currently runs a nonprofit healthcare optimization team via a startup in London, and is always changing the world for the better in some form or fashion. She loves books, music, running, and traveling most of all.

Early on, Emily was the first member of the college crew to slide in from another dorm (ehringhaus, to be exact). her hilarious anecdotes soon made her indispensable, and she has only grown in excellence since our college days:) emily is insanely intelligent, quick with a joke or a funny (often self-deprecating) story, and an amazing problem solver. She worked for Booze-Allen before migrating into the world of corporate liquor sales, where her smarts and incredible personality help her to excel. She currently lives in Williamsburg, where she and her husband have settled down for the moment after a year of remote work. she loves good food and drink, orange theory, and the hustle and bustle of city life.

Alex and Savannah were close friends in high school, where they navigated the halls of Cannon as two public school transplants in a world of country clubs and khakis. The two bonded during a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. They have remained friends over the years, and share a love of travel, music, the outdoors, and their families.
