Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

For the traditional American ceremony held 1/10/2026: We've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further. For the traditional Ethiopian ceremony held 1/11/2026: All ages are welcome to attend the festivities!

What is the dress code?

Answer

For 1/10/2026 We ask that everyone follows a formal dress code. Men: suits, tuxedos, dress shoes, etc. Women: cocktail dresses, formal floor length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, etc. What NOT to wear: Jeans, hats, sandals, sneakers, etc. For 1/11/2026 Guests are invited to wear Ethiopian traditional clothing or elegant white attire in celebration of this special day.

What time should I arrive?

1/10/2026: Guests should arrive at the venue at 4:45PM 1/11/2026: Guests should arrive at the venue at 3:45PM

How is the parking situation?

Answer

There are 80 parking spaces on site. This will require some carpooling for everyone to have a spot in the onsite parking lot. Please do not drive separately from your family unless absolutely necessary.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

There is a tab labeled “RSVP” on this website. When you click there, you will be prompted to enter one of the names in your family/party. This will allow you to RSVP for your entire family/party. Please RSVP for each day (1/10 & 1/11). While here, please indicate any serious food allergies so we can be mindful of that.

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

It depends! Plus ones are reserved for married couples and serious life partners. All invited guests were addressed on the invitation. When prompted to RSVP you are allowed to RSVP for your entire party and no more. Please feel free to reach out if you feel that we made an error with the site.

Please RSVP by December 1, 2025

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

There will be a space when you RSVP where you can specify any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate.

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Yes, we'll have an open bar with beer, wine, and liquor.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that all phones are put away during the ceremony so our photographers can get nice shots of everyone (without their phones in their faces ;) ) in the moment!

Where can I find photos afterwards?

Answer

Our photographer will be providing us a link with all group photos once they are ready that we will share with our guests.
