Question

What in the heck happens at a Catholic Nuptial Mass?

Answer

As with any Catholic Mass, there will be "the liturgy of the word" consisting of 3 readings out of the bible, and "the liturgy of the body" in which the eucharist (the true body and blood of Jesus) is consecrated subsequently received by practicing Catholics. Additionally in a Nuptial Mass we will make our marital vows and enter into the sacrament of marriage. You can expect the Mass to last a little longer than one hour.

Question

Can I take pictures during the Mass?

Answer

The Mass is a solemn and sacred ceremony. In order to maintain a prayerful and reverent atmosphere we ask that you refrain from taking photos, or using your phone for any other purpose. This includes the wedding party entrance and exit.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Yes! Absolutely! We love kiddos.

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Attire for the wedding will be formal. Also, as we are getting married in the cathedral, we ask that you please keep modesty in mind when selecting an outfit.
