What if I can't make it to the wedding?
Answer
You will be greatly missed but we totally understand! Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly!
Question
What is the address of the wedding events? Are they are wheelchair accessible?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the Zimmerwald Estate in Ellenboro, NC. The link on our Home page will direct you to Google Maps for directions. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you where to park and where to go for the ceremony!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our guests dress up with us for our special day! Dress code is semi-formal/formal casual. Ladies - formal/ semi formal dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates would all be appropriate. Gentleman - dress shirt and tie, sports coat, or suits are acceptable. We will allow jeans for the gentleman with appropriate jackets and shirts! Please abstain from wearing white or cream!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We would love to offer a plus one to all guests, but we do have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Are my kids allowed?
Answer
In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion with exception of immediate families. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to attend our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our afternoon ceremony will take place outdoors in a field. The cocktail hour will reside outdoors as well in the courtyard with the reception following indoors in the main barn! Guests will walk to the ceremony site on gravel pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?
Answer
We are thrilled to celebrate our marriage in the beautiful autumn weather of North Carolina. While daytime temperatures are typically pleasant, evenings can be cooler. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap to ensure you are comfortable throughout the outdoor festivities. We'll have a few cozy touches on hand, but kindly plan your attire accordingly!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. However, you are welcome to take as many pictures and videos you would like during the reception!

Where should we bring /send our gifts?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 27 Grassy Hollow Dr. Marion, NC 28752. A wedding card box and gift table will also be available at our reception for any other gifts brought.
