6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Cocktail/Festive New Year's Eve Attire
In lieu of a formal rehearsal dinner, please join us for a party to ring in the New Year! Weather permitting, fireworks will be going off from Pikes Peak at 9pm (when the ball drops in NYC). This gives us the opportunity to celebrate New Year's together without staying up til midnight. We welcome you to stay for an hour or the whole evening, you are special to us and we can't wait to see you! Open house with appetizers(lots of croissants!) and soft drinks provided, meals and cocktails for purchase. Happy hour at the restaurant is 5-6pm.
3:30 pm
Dress code is: Dressy Warm Attire.
The ceremony will be outside and we want everyone to be comfortable, it will be COLD. The reception will be dressy casual/semiformal dress code and if you are able to wear the same thing all day and just add some layers to it that will work great. If you would be more comfortable wearing a different outfit for the ceremony there will be be plenty of time to change before the reception. We will be taking at least one group photo at the ceremony location and request that you don’t have neon orange or yellow on. After turning onto ridge road, you will take the second exit at the round-about, pass the first parking lot on your right, and park in the second "dead end" parking lot. We will have someone near the gates directing people where to walk. You will be walking up towards a pavilion, but not quite going all the way to the top. There is a dirt path with a slight incline, it's about a 0.2 mile walk, and we recommend wearing shoes suitable for a short walk(definitely no stilettos).
