Temple Square is the five-block area surrounding the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Built in 1893 it is one of the most stunning and historical sites in Salt Lake City. Neighboring Temple Square is City Creek, which is a beautiful outdoor mall filled with boutiques and restaurants. You can access this easily by car or by taking Trax located next to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
The Natural History Museum of Utah is one of our favorite places to go! This museum is rich with history, dinosaur exhibits, and many "wow" moments. This is one of our favorite places to visit when we are in Salt Lake!
Thanksgiving Point is the perfect spot for families traveling to Utah. There is a golf coarse, a butterfly biosphere, dinosaur museum, movie theater, and the Ashton Gardens all located on property. Ashton Gardens features 50-acres of stately gardens, grand lawns, as well as the largest manmade waterfall in the Western Hemisphere.
