We eloped!

We met through our close mutual friend in 2016 when Kaitlyn still lived in Titusville, FL and I was in Jacksonville. Then, a few months later, I was on a solo trip around the southeast and happened to be in Asheville the same time as Kaitlyn was visiting the area with her family. We hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and felt a connection immediately. We kept in close contact until Kaitlyn moved to Jacksonville in 2017. In 2020, while visiting Providence Canyon in Georgia, Kaitlyn popped the question and I said yes! We went back to Asheville to exchange vows in a private ceremony on August 9, 2021. We are so excited to celebrate with close friends and family this October!
