Garden Party Formal Think elevated summer celebration — polished but not black‑tie. Light, breathable fabrics are ideal for a mid‑August afternoon in Western North Carolina. Guests are encouraged to choose cheerful, seasonal colors while avoiding white and bridal‑adjacent tones. Shoes The ceremony takes place on grass, and guests will walk through and mingle in a pebble courtyard before moving to concrete and pebble areas for cocktail hour and the reception. Block heels, wedges, flats, or dress shoes with stable soles are recommended. Please avoid stilettos, as they sink into grass and catch in pebbles. Hats & Accessories Tasteful hats, fascinators, and summer accessories fit beautifully with the garden party aesthetic. We simply ask that accessories do not obstruct views during the ceremony.
Kids are more than welcome at our wedding! Please be sure to rsvp them so that we are able to provide enough food and seating for everyone!
Significant others should be listed on the invitation, if your plus one is not listed on the invitation please be sure to rsvp them and reach out to the groom or bride. This way we can ensure they have a seat at our wedding!
