The wedding ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. The reception will take place under a large tent, which will also serve as our backup in case of rain—though we’re hoping for clear skies! The projected temperature for this time of year is between the low 60s and high 70s, so please dress accordingly.
We are incredibly grateful to the bride's great uncle for letting us use his home for the wedding. While a "backyard" wedding has so many perks, one little hiccup is the very limited parking. But don't worry—we've got you covered! The couple has arranged a shuttle service to make sure everyone can get to and from the venue easily. We highly recommend taking advantage of this shuttle service. It will pick up guests at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Chattanooga I-24/Lookout Mountain, located at 40 Starview Ln, Chattanooga, TN 37419, and will run from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. For our local guests, we also encourage carpooling, whether to the shuttle pick-up location or directly to the venue. Let's make it easy and fun for everyone to celebrate together!
Yes they are. Please RSVP online to the wedding by September 30th. You can do this by scanning the QR code on the back of your invitation or by clicking the "RSVP" tab on the top of our wedding website. Looking forward to celebrating with you!
Yes we have! The couple has arranged a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Chattanooga I-24/Lookout Mountain, located at 40 Starview Ln, Chattanooga, TN 37419 for your convenience. To reserve a room within the block, please call the hotel and mention that you would like to book under the "Buzbee Wedding Block." Additionally, a shuttle service will be available to and from the venue at this hotel. Since parking at the venue is extremely limited, we encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle service! The shuttle will run from 2:30 pm - 11:00pm.
We kindly ask that guests wear cocktail attire—no jeans, please! Since the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, keep in mind that the grass might be a bit soft. When picking your shoes, remember that comfort is key! Sinking heels are no fun, so plan accordingly and get ready to enjoy the day!
Absolutely! Feel free to bring your kids along. We know many of you are traveling from afar, so there's no need to leave the little ones at home. For moms with toddlers or babies, the bride is opening up the nearby VRBO rental for the bridal party, which can be used as a spot to change a diaper, give a bottle, or just have a quiet space for a nap or some downtime. Of course, you're also welcome to make it a parents' night out and leave the kids with a sitter—totally up to you! Please just be mindful of keeping disruptions to a minimum during the wedding ceremony.
Absolutely! The bride and groom love to celebrate, so there will be an open bar for everyone to enjoy. Drinks are on us, but please remember to drink responsibly and stay mindful of your limits. Have fun and cheers to a great time!
If you've been given a plus-one, you'll be able to add their details when you RSVP online. If you didn’t receive a plus-one, we ask that you please respect this, as our venue has limited space. Thanks for understanding!
To help everyone get to the venue and seated on time, the shuttle service will start transporting guests at 2:30 pm. The shuttle ride will take about 15 minutes, with a short 5-minute walk from the drop-off point to the ceremony location. Please plan accordingly to ensure you’re in your seats by 4:00 pm.
Absolutely, but please keep a few things in mind. We have photographers capturing every special moment, and we’d prefer not to have cell phones in the pictures. Please refrain from using your phones during key moments like the ceremony, grand entrances, and speeches. Also, please wait to post any photos on social media until the couple has had a chance to share their professional photos first. Thank you for understanding!
