FAQs

Question

What should you wear?

Answer

We would love to have everyone dress up anything from dressy casual to semi formal. There will be lots of photos taken so keep that in mind. We do also want everyone to be comfortable!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4pm. This is lake time though. You are welcome to show up starting around 3/3:30 to get a beverage from the bar and settle in.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! If you know us, you know we love feeding the people we hold near and dear.

Question

Will there be booze?

Answer

Yes, the lodge has a full bar. We will not however be holding an open bar. We will happily be providing a few beverages after the ceremony. After that you’re on your own tab! Please remember this wedding will be highly photographed. Drink responsibly. Reminder: You cannot bring outside alcoholic beverages into the lodge for consumption, it can put our license at risk.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

ASAP would be the best however if you’re a late bloomer please let us know by 6/1/23.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We are working to accommodate as many as we can at the lodge. However if you have an RV or want to make it a weekend and put up a tent parking is limited here at the lodge we also cannot plug in RVs to our power system but there are several places near by that you can set up with. One is the campground just down the road please call them at 1-907-822-5566 to make a reservation. There are also several great pull offs along lake Louise road :) If you’re looking to book a hotel room outside the lodge one of the nearest is Tolsona lake lodge.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

As much as we love everyone’s four legged family members, we would prefer this to be a dog free event. The doors will be open and there will be lots of food around as well as activity so it would be best to leave them at the cabin or at home. If you must bring them please have a way to contain them either in a crate or another option.
