Savannah was born in Arlington TX in 1996 and grew up with her parents, sisters, brother, and beloved dogs. Savannah loves spicy food, rom-coms, and working in her lab. Savannah is excited to start married life with Jarrod in North Carolina.
Jarrod Welch
Groom
Jarrod was born in Houston, TX in 1995 and grew up with his parents and brother. Jarrod loves football, family time, and deep sea sailing. Jarrod is excited to formally adopt Millie and Scout, his two favorite puppies, once the knot is tied.
Braelynn Venable
Maid of Honor
Braelynn is the closest sister of the bride and the funniest member of the wedding party. Braelynn and Savannah were college roommates as well where they enjoyed tacos, outreach, and dog meet ups. Braelynn and Savannah remain the closest of friends despite living in different states, constantly sharing funny photos of their dogs and spending hours on the phone. When they get together it's like no time has past and they fall back into silly banter, playing games, and sharing everything.
Dennis (Buddy) Jones
Best Man
Best man and cousin to the groom. Jarrod and Buddy met in 1995, although, Buddy was only two and doesn't remember much about that day. Sharing a love for sports, they grew up playing whenever we were together. Though living in different states they always make sure to call or text each other when the games are on. As a lifelong Sooners fan it pains Buddy to say, but a part of him always roots for the Aggie's when they play so that Jarrod can enjoy the game.
April Seely
Bridesmaid
April is the youngest sister of the bride. April recently graduated from high school and is looking forward to attending college. April and Savannah love to go to arcades, thrift shopping, and trying new Asian cuisine. Even when they're apart, April and Savannah stay connected through their shared love of reading and their competitive attitude towards phone games.
Harrison Comish
Groomsman
Harrison met Jarrod in 2019 when he started dating his now wife, Mackenzie. They bonded over Aggie football, video games and much more. From going out to Buck's for dancing to deployments, college graduations and sailing hitches, they have been best friends through it all. Even when they're not able to be together in person, they text and play video games together, often to the chagrin of Savannah and Mackenzie.
Mandi Feinberg
Bridesmaid
Mandi is the bride's best friend from graduate school. Hailing from Pennsylvania, Mandi introduced Savannah to craft beer and Trader Joe's. Mandi's quick witted nature and sharp sense of humor keeps everyone smiling and often makes her the life of any party. Savannah and Mandi may be graduating, but they will always be together bonding over shared photos of their pets, reading the same authors, and a love of science.
Andrew Jaris
Groomsman
Andrew and Jarrod have been best friends since they met in 2019 when they joined the Corps at TAMUG. They bonded over the mess that was being a cadet, Covid lockdown in the dorms, their love for Aggie football, going out to Bucks, and more. They've been through a lot together as they have moved through different stages of their lives, and Jarrod’s always been one of the first people he calls if Andrew needs something. When you make sailing your career, it can be hard to maintain friendships, but Jarrod and Andrew text when they can and hang out when they’re home whether it's to watch a football game or just chill.
Michael McKelvey
Officiant
Michael and Savannah started graduate school together in 2019 and quickly became great friends. Jarrod and Michael hit it off right away when the bride and groom started to integrate their friend groups. The three of them enjoy a drink at Market Station playing some shuffleboard and pool as well as trips to the shooting range and the brewery.
