It’s the event you’ve all been waiting for…

I, Savannah, swiped right on on a nerdy boys dating profile on an app I’m sure none of you have ever heard of… *cough* tinder *cough*… we chatted for about a week online then decided it was time to meet in real life… well 6 and a half years and many adventures later, we went out on a date. We stopped by town topic for strawberry shakes after having gazed out onto the Kansas City skyline from the WWI museum. We spent our night together, just as enamored by one another as we were on the night we met. I turned to him, only to be surprised that he was down on one knee with a small black box in his hands, asking if I wanted to marry him. I couldn’t get a yes out before I was dragging him up into my arms for a hug. I was SHOOK. He had been planning this almost all year, and I hadn’t had any idea. We’ve been through so much together already, but there isn’t a doubt in my mind that we’re going to be together forever, so I’m hoping that all of you, our loved ones, can spend just one day with us, to mark the beginning of the next chapter for us.
